Over the year’s Regina has played host to many firsts at the YBC Fivepin Nationals. Last time we were there we launched the Trios and Mixed Team events for Juniors and Seniors to great success. This year, it’s another twist:
All bowlers in all divisions will compete at more than one bowling centre throughout the 2023 YBC Nationals schedule. We often hear that bowlers and families travel the country and only get to see the hotel and one bowling centre. Well, this year the events will rotate amongst the host centres, giving everyone a fresh new experience each day. We sincerely thank the Host Committee and Host Proprietors for working with us on this and making the YBC Nationals even more exciting as a result.
Because we will have a centre rotation schedule in place, be sure to pick up your souvenirs on Day-1. They’ll be at your bowler’s location on day 1 of competition. Please don’t forget to do this as you may not be going back to that bowling centre once you leave. And as always…be sure to get on the right bus each morning. With or without a host centre rotation, hotels may have buses waiting that are going to multiple locations, so always check the sign on each bus to ensure you’re heading to the right centre.
